Stormy Days

It was quite stormy here yesterday, but driving home from the art store/coffee shop run I did, I was greeted by a breathtaking view of sunlight streaming through breaks in the heavy stormclouds against a sky that looked like melting sherbert. Alas, I didn't have my camera with me, but this is as close as I could come to recreating that beauty.

Experiments

New techniques on old lineart. It turned out pretty awesome, I think.

A few tutorials I read stressed changing the opacity and flow based on pen pressure in photoshop. On a whim I decided to try this, and damn did it make a difference! Now, if photoshop had a 'water' blender like Sai does I'd be totally set.

Almost a Month? Geez...

It has been almost a month, hasn't it? With Cata dropping this past Tuesday and feeling mostly uninspired this past month there is no secret as to why there hasn't been updates. But here is something!
